Mr. Abdurrahman (29 yrs old), Kenya, under-went successful Kidney transplant Surgery done in Apollo Hospital New Delhi,
Mr. was suffering from kidney failure, was on dialysis decided to undergo transplant surgery to prevent further deterioration of health and to save life.
Their family members inquired about kidney transplant surgery in Kenya itself, but the cost was 3 times more expensive than India, so finally they decided to do surgery in India. His family members decided to travel to India for surgery. They had been advised to contact (Humane Medical Assistance) to manage their travel plan. Humane Team with the help of local associate, Initiated the medical trip plan.
They shared his latest and old medical reports with us. We discussed the case with a Sr. Consultant Surgeon- kidney transplant department, Apollo Hospital. Dr. found both recipient and donor were fit for surgery. We got tentative treatment plan and quotation for surgery. The cost they found more affordable than Kenya.
Humane's Team assisted him in arranging Visa Invitation Letter and managed further travel plan.
Finally, the patient and his family with two perspective donor arrived in Delhi, at the airport; He has been received, by our team and taken to the hospital as per the plan. The appointment was fixed with Dr.Vijaya. The detailed assessment and Investigations of both patient donor was done, then all the legal formalities was also completed. After almost 2 weeks, transplant surgery was successfully done. The donor was discharged after the 4th day of surgery and recipient discharged on 7th day of surgery in stable condition. The donor was travelled back to Kenya after 10 days and patients travelled back almost after 1 month regular after finishing his regular post-transplant follow-up. Till now both the patient and donor are in healthy condition and both had resumed to his routine life.

Mrs. Karol Mmabaji, Rwanda, successful treatment of Gullian Bare Syndrome (GBS) in Medanta-themedicity Hospital, Gurugram,India.
Ms. Karol (29 yrs.), accompanied by sister Tina, from Rwanda, received medical management during January 2019.
Ms. Karol was suffered from a rare type of neurological disorder (GBS-Guillain-Barre syndrome), which led her almost paralysed from all her daily activities. In a very short time her health deteriorated, was able to do her daily activities which led to an urgent medical attention to save her life. Local doctors could not diagnose her real cause of illness.
In Rwanda she had been advised for Medanta through local doctors.
We received her medical summery and shared got tentative treatment plan with patient.
She was completely wheel chair bound due to inability to walk when she arrived at Delhi airport; she picked-up well by Humane Team (Mr. Ali), and then was immediately transferred to hospital.
On arrival in India she got special attention Rwanda High commission New Delhi and treated under special consideration and Humana’s Team assisted her during hospital stay and stay in India for accommodation.
We consulted Dr. Verma, neurology department, after detailed assessment and Investigations, she had been diagnosed with a very rare disease GBS, then accordingly most appropriate medical management (I.V. Immunoglobulins, IVIG) was give and physiotherapy started. After completion of IVIG, She was given Ayurveda therapy (Ancient Indian system of therapy) and Ayurveda massaged. At time of discharge, Humane Team had arranged accommodation as per her choice in her budget near-by the hospital. During follow-up she received physiotherapy hotel as advised and Ayurveda treatment was continue on regular basis in hospital. After almost 2 weeks of treatment she found miracle in her life was started to walk and was able to do daily life activities without any assistance.
After, almost 15 days of total stay in India, she went back to Rwanda. Now, she is back to her routine job
