Founder of the AIIMS Breast Clinic: Her visionary leadership led to the establishment of the first-ever Breast Cancer Clinic at AIIMS, New Delhi, in 1980. This clinic became the blueprint for specialized breast care across the nation.
Global Influence: With extensive training from the UK and the USA, she brings an international perspective to Indian healthcare. Her time at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York) helped her refine advanced surgical protocols that she later implemented at major Indian institutions.
Compassionate Mentorship: Beyond the operating room, Dr. Sarin is a renowned educator and the Chairperson of the NGO “Forum for Breast Protection.” She is deeply passionate about early detection and has produced educational films to empower women with knowledge about breast self-examination.
