Complaints-
Mr. Rashid Khamishi suffered severe fistula and bleeding through anus while
passing of stool. Frequent anal abscesses. Pain and swelling around the anus. Bloody
or foul-smelling drainage (pus) from an opening around the anus. Irritation of
the skin around the anus from drainage. Pain with bowel movements. He underwent
surgery twice prior to this. He was advised again for next level of surgery,
decided to travel India for better results.
Pre-arrival
Plan- He was recommended to Mr. Ali (Humane Medical
Assistance) by our Kenyan associate.
He shared her medical
reports and clinical summary. After discussing the case with Dr. Kirplani HOD
department of minimal access and bariatric surgery) and, we got tentative
treatment plan and quotation for surgery. We share the same plan with Mr.
Rashid. Our local partner helped him to get approval of his insurance. We sent
visa invitation letter for patient and attendant.
On
Arrival Services- He arrived to Delhi, at airport, has
been received, by our Patient Care Executive and taken to the hospital as per
the plan. Accommodation was managed as per the choice and allotted budget of
patient.
Treatment
Plan- Appointment was scheduled with Dr. Kirplani. After
detailed assessment and evaluation (Fistulectomy, and
adhesion removal surgery. Surgery was performed successfully. The patient was
discharged in stable condition. After, few days of follow he went back to home.
We did the airlines clearance also as per the requirements.
Follow-up:
He
was advised to come back for review. We
did follow-up for changes in medicine.
